Development company PI Renewables has secured planning permission on appeal for the 26MW Eascairt wind farm on the Kintyre peninsula in Scotland.
Holyrood officials approved the wind farm, which will feature 13 turbines of up to 100 metres near Skipness in Argyll and Bute.

The project will be located near the ferry crossing over the Kilbrannan Sound to Arran.
Plans were filed in 2015 and rejected by the local authority in 2016.
PI Renewables previously partnered on projects including the operational Drone wind farm in the Borders and Tormywheel in the Central Belt.
