German outfit CEE has raised its renewable assets under management to 668MW with the acquisition of a wind farm from Max Bogl Stiftung and private individual Egbert Reitz.
The 16.5MW project features six GE 2.75-120 turbines and is located at Asslar in Hessen.
CEE Operations will be responsible for commercial management of the wind farm, while Max Bogl will oversee technical issues.
The project has been operational since May 2017.
CEE Group chief executive Detlef Schreiber said: “We are pleased to have successfully completed this project with Max Bogl and Mr Reitz.
“The acquisition of the Asslar wind farm marks a further step in our successful growth strategy. Together with our partners, we also aim to grow outside our core German and French markets in the long term.”
Max Bogl Group head of wind project development Guido Marks said: “We are delighted to have handed the Asslar wind farm over to the experienced and expert hands of the Hamburg-based CEE Group.”
