Provincial utility Hydro-Quebec and Apuiat wind farm partners – Société en commandite (SEC) Apuiat and developer Boralex – have agreed a power purchase agreement for the 200MW project on Quebec’s North Shore in Canada.
SEC Apuiat was set up by the Innu communities to enable them to invest and participate in the project.
The agreement will be finalised subject to certain conditions.
The commercial aspects of the contract have not been disclosed.
