Senvion has renewed a service contract for Vattenfall’s 122MW Princess Alexia wind farm in the Netherlands.
The four-year extension covers the project’s six 3.4M104 turbines, which are located at Zeewolde in the Flevoland province.
Joint teams comprising engineers from Senvion and Nuon, the Vattenfall subsidiary that owns the wind farm, will carry out the work from a base in Nijkerk.
Princess Alexia (pictured) was formerly known as the Zuidlob wind farm and was commissioned in September 2013.
Senvion managing director Europe North Knud Rissel said: “We are delighted to be working with Vattenfall and Nuon at the Princess Alexia, one of Europe’s largest onshore wind farms.
“Our service teams will be working hard to ensure our turbines work to maximum efficiency, producing the highest yields possible.”
