Full operations at Irish investor NTR’s 25MW Castlecraig wind farm in Northern Ireland are set to be unleashed shortly.
The project in County Tyrone features 10 Nordex N100 turbines and construction was managed by RES, which will also oversee operations for the next 25 years.
NTR program manager Martin Sweeney said a strong construction team and recent good weather allowed for the installation of two units per week and delivery of the wind farm ahead of schedule.
“NTR is selective about the markets, technology and contractors we work with, and we have been impressed by the performance and expertise demonstrated by all the businesses involved in this development,” he said.
Finance for the build was provided by First Trust Bank.
