Germany utility STEAG has offloaded a 49% interest in its 94MW onshore wind portfolio in France to a fund managed by Allianz Global Investors.
The contract with with Allianz Renewable Energy Fund II was signed last month is a retroactive transaction effective on 1 January 2017.
The deal still has to be cleared by competition authorities.
The partners did not disclose the purchase price.
STEAG will keep a 51% stake in the assets and will remain responsible for operating the wind farms.
