Seaway Heavy Lifting has installed the final set of foundation piles at SSE’s 588MW Beatrice offshore wind farm in the Moray Firth in Scotland.
The installation process included driving 86 sets of four piles into the sea bed using the company’s heavylift vessel Stanislav Yudin.
Jacket foundations are currently being lifted into place atop the pre-laid piles.
Beatrice will comprise 84 Siemens Gamesa 7MW turbines and is due to be fully operational in 2019.
