BayWa has sold its remaining portfolio of UK solar farms, totalling 75MW, to a fund managed by Greencoat Capital.
Greencoat Solar II LP has bought the portfolio, which includes the 45MW Bann Road solar farm in Northern Ireland and a further six projects in England and Wales.
BayWa will continue to provide operations and maintenance at all the facilities.
BayWa board member responsible for the energy business Matthias Taft said: “While this sale is of our remaining UK portfolio of solar projects, we remain very active in the UK market through our growing solar operations maintenance business.”
