Nordex Group secured turbine orders totalling 37.2MW for two wind farms in France in the third quarter of 2017.
The German manufacturer will next year deliver six N117/3000 machines on 120-metre towers for VSB Energies Nouvelles’ Coesmes wind farm located 40km south east of Rennes.
Nordex will also supply and install eight N117/2400 turbines at the Valbin wind farm near Troyes, starting in April 2018.
The deal also includes a 15-year service agreement.
Valbin was developed by Eolfi and is now owned by investor Leonidas Associates, which will also operate the project.
