Statoil, Atlantis Resources and Wood Group are among the shortlisted companies for the 2017 Scottish Green Energy Awards has been revealed.
Almost 40 contenders have been selected from 100 entries across 10 categories, with the winners set to be announced at an event at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre on 30 November.
Statoil’s Hywind floating offshore wind farm and Atlantis Resources’ MeyGen scheme are both up for the outstanding project award.
Nova Innovations is also among the finalists for its Shetland Tidal Array, alongside Berwickshire Community Renewables for the first UK wind farm developed by a housing association.
Scottish Renewables deputy chief executive Jenny Hogan said: “What Scotland is doing – using renewable energy to drive economic growth, cut carbon emissions, heat homes and create jobs – is an exemplar for the rest of the world, and the unique achievements highlighted show that more clearly than ever.
“These are people and projects of which everyone in Scotland should be proud.”
