Wave Energy Scotland has issued funding calls for innovation to help shape its future research and development programmes.
A total of up to £320,000 (€362,800) is available for four short projects, the government-funded development body said.
The first two contracts will evaluate electrical connection solutions and foundations and moorings.
The final two are focused on large-scale wave energy converters and alternative generation techniques.
Companies have until 30 October to apply.
