The operators of the 400MW Global Tech 1 offshore wind farm in the German North Sea are seeking a company to provide helicopter transport services between the project and the mainland.
The tender document calls for the provision of regular flights – one to two a week – to and from Emden and Global Tech 1.
The aircraft would be required to transport four to 10 people and freight – including “dangerous goods”.
The tender is open until 12 midday local time on 16 October.
The contract is for 12 months with an option to extend it twice for a further 12 months each.
Global Tech 1 has been operational since 2015 and features 80 Adwen 5MW turbines.
Shareholders in the project include Stadtwerke München, Entega, Swiss company Axpo and Esportes Offshore.
