Canadian outfit BluEarth Renewables has completed the acquisition of a wind farm and three run-of-river hydro plants totalling 85MW.
The financial terms of the deal have not been released.
BluEarth president and chief executive Grant Arnold said: “With this acquisition, we now have a portfolio of over $1.7bn of renewable energy facilities in operation and construction.”
Blake, Cassels & Graydon acted as legal counsel and RBC Capital Markets was financial advisor to BluEarth on the deal.
