ITW Engineered Polymers supported Van Oord with the installation of 87 monopile transition pieces for the 659MW Walney 3 offshore wind farm in the Irish Sea.
A total of 5300 tonnes of Ducorit S5R was used in the grouting of the transition pieces during installation, ITW Engineered Polymers said.
Foundation installation at Walney 3 was wrapped up in August.
ITW Engineered Polymers main supervisor for the project Martin Larsen said: “The cooperation with Van Oord was very good throughout the project.”
