Siemens Gamesa is to supply 20 SWT-3.6-130 turbines to Equis Energy for the Tolo 1 wind farm in Indonesia.
The hardware will be installed later this year at the site at Jeneponto in South Sulawesi on steel towers with hub heights of 135 metres.
Commissioning is slated for early 2018, Siemens Gamesa said.
The company has signed five-year contracts for engineering, procurement and construction as well as operations and maintenance.
Siemens Gamesa will work in a consortium with Indonesian construction company PT PP Persero on turbine installation.
Siemens Gamesa onshore business head in the Asia Pacific region Alvaro Bilbao Moran said: “We are proud to be awarded with this order since Equis Energy is an important and very dynamic player in the Indonesian energy market.”
