CS Wind has started delivering turbine towers for Community Windpower’s (CWP’s) 31MW Sanquhar wind farm in Scotland.
The project will consist of nine Vestas V112 3.45MW machines.
In February, CWP and Vestas agreed to the early order of the turbine towers from CW Wind’s Campbeltown plant to help fill a production gap.
Sanquhar will provide electricity to cover half of Nestlé’s operations in the UK and Ireland when operational.
