Vestas is to supply and install turbines totalling 14.4MW to ABO Wind for the Cappawhite B wind farm in Tipperary in Ireland.
The order is for four V105-3.45MW machines optimised to 3.6MW.
It also includes a 15-year active output management 5000 full scope operations and maintenance service agreement.
Delivery of the first turbines is planned for the second quarter of 2018 with commissioning expected in the third quarter of that year.
Vestas Northern Europe president Klaus Steen Mortense said: “The project marks our first V105-3.45MW order in Ireland, which is especially well-suited for the high wind conditions characteristically found in Ireland.”
