John Laing has invested in a wind farm in Australia and a solar facility in France in the first half of 2017.
The company invested £22m in the CAM Energie rooftop solar project in France and £10m in the Hornsdale 3 wind farm in Australia.
Its overall infrastructure investments in the first six months of the year totalled £111m.
John Laing added that investments in the Denver Eagle P3, Cramlington Biomass and Sterling, Kiata and Nordegründe wind farms are expected to be completed during the second half of 2017.
