Indian wind turbine fabricator Suzlon booked a net profit of Rs839 crores (€116m) in the 2016-17 financial year up from Rs570 crores the previous year.
The company said full year revenue stood at Rs12,693 crores compared to Rs9430 crores in 2016.
Suzlon recorded an all-time high commissioning rate by installing 1779MW in 2016-17, up 98% and taking its cumulative installations to over 11GW in India and over 17GW worldwide.
The company’s order book as at 31 March stood at 1562MW including 231MW from solar, it said.
Chief executive J P Chalasan said: “We continue to demonstrate strong operational performance on every front including volume growth, commissioning and order intake.
“Furthermore, we created 1800MW of blade manufacturing capacity in one single year.”
