Leask joins Welsh marine hub

Scottish outfit Leask Marine has joined the Marine Energy Hub in Pembroke in Wales.

The hub is located in Pembroke dock and was set up in 2016 as a joint initiative between Marine Energy Pembrokeshire, Marine Energy Wales and the Port of Milford Haven.

Leask Marine has over 10 years of experience supporting the marine renewables industry providing commercial diving, vessel charter and consultancy services.

Leask Marine managing director Douglas Leask said: “We have invested heavily over the past three years and we are delighted with this new and exciting important step forward in our development programme.”

Other companies involved in the hub include MarineSpace, Wavepower Cymru and Wave Hub.
