European Energy has sold two wind farms in Finland totalling 13.8MW to an unnamed Luxembourg-based infrastructure fund.
The deal followed European Energy’s closing of €22.1m in project financing from HSH Nordbank for the Haukineva and Jeppo projects located in the municipalities of Uusikaarlepvy and Kurikka.
International law firm Watson Farley & Williams (WFW) advised HSH Nordbank on the financing.
The WFW team was led by Hamburg partner Thomas Hollenhorst with support from senior associate Alexander Wojtek and associate Pascal Unger.
Partner Stefan Hoffmann and senior associate Carolin Woggon also assisted on all project related aspects of the transaction.
WFW said it worked with its Finnish correspondent law firm Krogerus on the deal.
