Dong has completed its 258MW Burbo Bank 2 wind farm in the Irish Sea, the first commercial deployment of MHI Vestas V164 8MW turbines.
The project in Liverpool Bay features 32 turbines that were installed by late last year.
The Danish giant said in quarterly results today it completed the wind farm this month.
Burbo Bank 2 is a joint partnership between Dong (50%), PKA (25%) and Kirkbi (25%).
It joins the 90MW Burbo Bank 1 wind farm which has been in operation for some time.
