Dutch company Heerema has loaded the offshore substation topside for the 336MW Galloper wind farm on to a barge at its Hartlepool yard.
The fabricator loaded out the jacket foundation for the substation in February.
Galloper is being developed off the Suffolk coast and is a joint equity partnership between Innogy UK, UK Green Investment Bank, Siemens Financial Services, Macquarie Capital and Sumitomo Corp.
The wind farm will consist of Siemens 6MW turbines and is expected to start operating in March 2018.
The first 12 blades out of a total of 168 have arrived to Great Yarmouth Port, operator Peel Ports said separately.
