3sun has started the pre-assembly of the first tower for Innogy’s 336MW Galloper wind farm off the UK east coast.
Work began at Great Yarmouth earlier this month, with installation of the 56 Siemens 6MW turbines set to start in early summer.
The Siemens pre-assembly contract has created some 40 jobs at the Great Yarmouth company.
The turbine foundations for the offshore wind farm off Suffolk, which is due to start operating in 2018, were completed last week.
