SgurrEnergy provided technical due diligence during the financing period for the 115MW Santiago Solar project in Chile.
The work on the development, located in Til-Til Santiago, included site assessment, project schedule review, equipment and technical design reviews, solar resource assessment and energy yield prediction.
The project, which is owned by EDF Energies Nouvelles and Andes Mining and Energy, is scheduled to come online at the end of the year.
SgurrEnergy consultant Vincent Burgmeier said: “This is one of a number of key projects being delivered in Chile and we’re looking forward to supporting the project through the construction phase, on its road to operation.”
