Jan De Nul is mobilising its heavy lift jack-up vessel Vole au Vent in preparation for work on Suomen Hyötytuuli’s 40MW Tahkoluoto offshore wind farm in Finland.
Jan De Nul Group is the main marine construction contractor for the project, which will consist of 10 Siemens 4MW turbines.
It will be responsible for dredging, seabed construction work and the installation of foundations and wind turbines.
The wind farm is expected to be complete in autumn 2017.
Vole au Vent (pictured) completed installation earlier this week of 50 Vestas V112 3.3MW turbines at the 165MW Belwind 2 offshore wind farm off the coast of Belgium.
