Thrive Renewables has raised £10m through a bond offer to support clean energy projects in the UK.
The company, previously known as Triodos Renewables, said it has sold bonds to 933 investors. New investors contributed almost 42% of the raise, investing an average of £1000 each.
The offer, launched in mid-November, raised £7.7m within one month.
A portion of the funds have already helped fund three renewable energy projects in Scotland, including two wind farms and a solar park.
Thrive, based in Bristol, has contributed to the construction of 19 projects with a combined capacity of 95MW around Britain.
