Jones Bros Civil Engineering has completed reinstatement work at the 24.6MW Tirgwynt wind farm in Wales and is in the final handover stages with developer Awel Newydd Cyf.
Jones Bros is the principal balance of plant contractor for the 12-turbine project, which is located near Carno in Powys.
It built the turbine bases and substation, upgraded surrounding roads and carried out associated electrical connections work.
Wind Prospect project managed the construction of the wind farm.
Jones Bros regional manager Hefin Lloyd-Davies said: “The project has progressed smoothly from start to finish.
“We had challenging weather conditions at times, and also had to adhere to strict deadlines because of seasonal on-site restrictions due to local bird breeding.”
Awel Newydd Cyf was acquired by Belltown Power from RDC Partners in August last year.
