Danish manufacturer Vestas has secured a 348MW order in the US for delivery in 2018.
The supply and commission deal for 174 of the company’s V110-2MW turbines was secured from an undisclosed customer for an unnamed project.
Nacelles, blades and towers will be produced in Vestas facilities in Colorado (pictured).
The package includes a multi-year service agreement.
The Vestas year-to-date order book is 899MW.
