The 17th and final turbine has been installed at RES’ 30.6MW Garreg Lwyd Hill wind farm in Powys in Wales.
Testing and commissioning works of the site’s Vestas V100 hardware are ongoing ahead of full operations.
Site reinstatement works are also ongoing.
The 17-turbine wind farm is due to be commissioned by the end of March ahead of the Renewables Obligation (RO) subsidy scheme cut-off.
Garreg Lywd is RES’ final wind farm to be built under the RO in Wales.
