TenneT has lined up HSM Offshore to build a 700MW offshore transformer station for the Borssele Alpha project off the Netherlands.
The platform is scheduled for completion in 2019 and will connect Dong’s 700MW Borssele 1&2 wind farm to the grid.
HSM will take on the engineering, construction, transport, installation, connection and testing of the transformer station.
The Dutch fabricator also has an option to provide a platform for the 700MW Borssele Beta project under the deal.
