Senvion has installed five wind turbines at the 15MW Quatre Chemins wind farm in France with 122-metre rotors, the largest ever installed in the country.
The 3.0M122 machines have hub heights of 89 metres, the German manufacturer said.
The wind farm is being developed by Noria and Quadran and is located in Coupéville in the Marne department.
Senvion France managing director Olivier Perot said: “Our 3MW wind turbines equipped with a large rotor diameter can be integrated in low wind speed sites with constraints.”
