Consultancies LOC Group and WavEC Offshore Renewables are partnering on several projects, including provision of a lifecycle assessment of offshore wind development.
The companies said pooling LOC Group’s expertise in offshore technology, resource measurement and operations and maintenance, with the research and analysis capabilities of WavEC will “benefit the industry as a whole”.
LOC Group director renewables advisory and energy technology RV Ahilan said: “This collaboration is an important step in the development of offshore wind.
“The combined expertise of LOC and WavEC will help develop skills and technologies across the industry value chain.”
