RES Group has selected French company Sereema’s Windfit system to help optimise production at its 10.5MW Claves wind farm in France.
The project, which is located in the Drôme region of the country, consists of six 1.75MW turbines.
RES said Windfit will help optimise productivity by “limiting production losses related to maintenance operations”.
The system’s sensors measure the activity of the turbines and transmit data to Sereema for continuous processing to determine more effectively the settings needed for optimum energy efficiency, it added.
