BayWa has sold two solar plants in North Carolina totalling 47MW to PSEG Solar Source for $74.6m.
The Cork Oak and Sunflower solar energy centers are under construction and scheduled to begin operation later this year.
Both facilities have 10-year power purchase agreement with Virginia Electric and Power and are located about 90 miles northeast of Raleigh in Halifax.
BayWa is the developer, as well as the engineering, procurement and construction contractor for both projects.
It will also operate the facilities for PSEG Solar Source when they become operational.
The projects consist of almost 149,000 polycrystalline Trina Solar panels.
