Vattenfall and Stadtwerke Munchen are set to install the final turbine at the 288MW Sandbank offshore wind farm in the German North Sea this weekend.
The project features 72 Siemens SWT-4.0-130 machines, the first of which was installed in July last year.
Sandbank exported first power in early September from the site 90km west of the island of Sylt.
MPI Adventure (pictured) is installing the turbines, while service operations vessel Acergy Viking is supporting commissioning.
