French company Areva has completed the sale of its 50% stake in the Adwen offshore wind turbine joint venture to Spanish manufacturer Gamesa.
The sale follows on from an agreement signed in June with Gamesa, Areva said.
Gamesa agreed to pay Areva €60m for its 50% share.
“This sale is part of the transformation plan undertaken by Areva to refocus its business on nuclear fuel cycle activities,” it added.
