Dong Energy is hiring two construction support vessels from Solstad Offshore for work on offshore wind farms in Europe.
The Rem Installer (pictured), which Solstad said is to be renamed Normand Jarl, has been contracted from February for 23 months, with an option for a further six months.
A second Solstad vessel will start working for Dong in April 2018 for a seven-month period, with an option for an additional eight months.
The commercial terms of the deals have not been disclosed by the two companies.
