Sungrow has provided central inverters totalling 18MW for two solar plants in Japan.
The Chinese company supplied its SG2000 model to a 10MW facility in the area served by Kansai Electric Power and an 8MW plant in the area covered by Chubu Electric Power.
It added that both plants have been approved to be connected to the local grids.
Sungrow said the SG2000 is “easy to deploy and install” and each covers eight square metres.
