Vestas has secured three turbine orders totalling 250MW for clients including BHE Renewables in the US.
The Danish manufacturer will supply V110 2MW machines totalling 140MW to BHE Renewables, an affiliate of Berkshire Hathaway Energy, to “enable the company’s future project pipeline”.
It has also received a firm and unconditional order for 40MW of V110 2MW hardware from an unnamed client in the US.
Vestas has won a further order to supply and commission 70MW of various 2MW compatible turbine components for another unnamed customer.
All the turbines will be produced at Vestas’ Colorado factories.
