Italy’s Falck Renewables has refinanced its operational 25MW Scottish wind farm Assel Valley for £42.3m.
The non-recourse loan agreement with Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group and Banco de Sabadell has a final due date falling in December 2034 and a tenor of 18 years.
The Assel Valley wind farm in South Ayrshire operational since October consists of 10 N90/2500 Nordex turbines.
Falck chief financial officer Paolo Rundeddu said the loan was closed at “very favourable conditions indeed”, reflecting the high level of performances expected from the wind farm.
