Boralex is partnering with Alberta Wind Energy Corp (AWEC) to develop wind and solar projects in the Canadian province of Alberta.
They have set up the Alberta Renewable Power Limited Partnership, 52% owned by Boralex and 48% by AWEC.
Boralex president and chief executive Patrick Lemaire said: “This joint venture is a great opportunity to make our first entry in Alberta.
“Our expertise in developing, building and operating all size of wind projects is complementary to AWEC’s project portfolio.”
