Mainstream has completed all 61 foundations at its 140MW Khobab wind farm in South Africa’s Northern Cape.
The developer said the foundations were completed on 5 December, ahead of schedule.
Most of the 99-metre towers will be manufactured by GRI in the Western Cape, Mainstream said.
The wind farm, located in Hantam municipality, is expected to start operating by December 2017.
