Aqualis Offshore has been contracted by A2Sea to carry out engineering consultancy services on the 406.7MW Horns Rev 3 wind farm off the coast of Denmark.
The work will involve the provision of structural site assessments at the locations where A2Sea’s Sea Installer jack-up vessel will install 49 MHI Vestas 8.3MW turbines.
The value of the contract has not been disclosed by the companies.
Aqualis Offshore chief executive David Wells said: “We have recently supported A2Sea and its vessel Sea Installer with similar scope of work at the Race Bank and the Burbo Bank Extension offshore wind farms in the UK.”
