Aqualis Offshore will support A2Sea on installation work for Dong’s 580MW Race Bank wind farm in the UK North Sea.
The Norwegian company’s London office will provide engineering consultancy to the Danish company, which will use Sea Installer to tackle 91 Siemens 6MW turbines.
The value of the deal was not disclosed.
“Aqualis Offshore’s team in London has provided services to offshore wind farm developers since the 1990s,” said Aqualis chief executive David Wells.
“We are very pleased that we will be able to support A2Sea on its work on the Race Bank. It is a highly interesting wind farm development.”
