Vestas is to supply 40 V110 2MW turbines to Titan Wind Energy for a wind farm in Licun Town in China’s Shandong Province.
The Danish manufacturer will also supervise installation of the machines, which will have heights of 137 metres making them the tallest turbines in China.
Delivery is expected in the second quarter of 2017, with commissioning scheduled for the second half of the year.
The order also includes a two-year active output management 4000 service contract, and a Scada VestasOnline Business system for data-driven monitoring and preventive maintenance.
