Vestas is to supply turbines totalling 50MW to Jiangsu Sinojit Wind Energy Technology for the Xuanhuihe wind farm in Hebei province in northern China.
The Danish manufacturer will deliver and supervise installation of V110 2MW machines, which will be optimised to 2.2MW.
Delivery is expected to start in the fourth quarter of 2017, Vestas said.
The deal also includes an active output management 4000 service contract and the company’s Scada VestasOnline Business monitoring and preventive maintenance system.
Vestas China president Kebao Yang said: “Sinojit is a Vestas supplier and we are honoured to provide the turbines for their first wind power plant.”
The Danes have secured about 475MW of orders in China in 2017.
