Vestas has a firm and unconditional order to supply turbines totalling 112MW to three wind farms in France for EDF Énergies Nouvelles.
The Danish manufacturer will supply V126 3.45MW machines to the 72.6MW Champagne Picardie project, V117 3.45MW hardware to the 19.8MW La Carnoye wind farm and V90 2MW units to the 20MW Bois de Belfays project,
Champagne Picardie is located in the Picardie region of France, La Carnoye is in Pas de Calais and Bois de Belfays is in Les Vosges.
Turbine delivery is planned for the second quarter of 2017.
The Bois de Belfays deal includes a 20-year active output management 4000 service agreement, while Champagne Picardie and La Carnoye include similar deals for two years.
The contracts are part of a master supply agreement between Vestas and EDF EN covering onshore wind turbine installations in Europe and US during 2016–2019.
