JinkoSolar Holding has completed the delivery of 140MW of solar photovoltaic modules for the North Star project located in Chisago County in Minnesota.
The project, which will cover 1000 acres of agricultural land when completed in December, will use over 440,000 of the company’s 72-cell polycrystalline modules.
Swinerton Renewable Energy is the project’s EPC contractor, providing employment to over 300 local workers during peak construction.
An affiliate of DE Shaw Renewable Investments owns the project.
