Banks Renewables has completed construction work at the 10MW Lambs Hill wind farm and has started commissioning the four-turbine project located northwest of Stockton in the UK.
The company expects the wind farm to start producing electricity before the end of the year.
The construction work started in October following a six-month programme of site preparation, construction and infrastructure development activities.
More than £1m in contracts have been awarded to northeast subcontractors as part of the project, Banks said.
The Banks Group community relations manager Lewis Stokes said: “Seeing the turbines is always an exciting landmark for our renewables construction team, and despite a wet and blustery few weeks, work is continuing to progress in line with our planned timetable.”
